Holy Trinity School's academic programs place emphasis on academic and individual growth, and
are aligned with national and Massachusetts state guidelines. Standard achievement tests are
given in 3rd and 5th grade, and Holy Trinity School students place well above average when
compared to others taking this test.

Parents receive updates throughout the year via progress reports, report cards, and parent teacher
meetings held formally twice a year. Teachers are also available to meet with parents at other times
by appointment.

In addition to core curriculum, Holy Trinity also offers Art, Gym, Music and Computer classes.
Students are also encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities that support their
interests such as helping to create and paint wall murals for the lunchrooms after school, theater
group, and other activities of interest to them.

Holy Trinity School has a library containing over 6,000 titles of quality children's literature.
Students learn to use the library, do research, and develop an appreciation for a wide variety of
literature as part of their academic schedule.

Students in the intermediate team (3rd, 4th and 5th grades) also participate in the Holy Trinity
School Garden Project, where students take responsibility as a group for determining which crops
will be planted, the harvest of the crops, and sales of the products from the garden to support the
charity that they have chosen as a group, and help fund next year's planting. Vegetables and
flowers are also submitted for judging at the Franklin County Fair. Students incorporate their
math, English and communications skills to ensure the success of what for many is their first
involvement in a business. Lessons about our local history and economy are combined with a pride
of ownership that lasts beyond the lessons in the classroom.
