Holy Trinity School Youth Group
Grades 6-8
The HTS Youth Group was created to provide a safe, caring, social environment where the students in Grades 6-8 could have fun and have an increased sense of belonging. The group meets every two weeks to socialize and work on projects.
March the Youth Group went to Poet's Seat Nursing Home to deliver cards and a to sing a few songs for the residents.
The Youth Group also created Easter Cards to send to the retired Sisters of St. Joseph at the Mont Marie Health Care Center in Holyoke. Thanking them for all their years of dedication and to wish them a Blessed Easter.
Last April, the HTS Youth group worked with the Director of Community Meals, Amy Clark, to provide help with a meal. The Youth Group raised funds to purchase the ingredients for their portion of the meal. They prepared it here at Holy Trinity School and then brought it to the meal site where they helped serve. The Youth Group has decided to become active in community service and self-sufficient through fundraising.
